I changed our Blue Bayou ADR for next week to a different day via the Preferred Access for hotel guests program (just call Disney Dining and hit #1 and have your reservation info available). After getting it I cancelled our original BB ADR and then looked at my app to see the reservation was for a month after the day I’d reserved on the phone. I panicked. (Obviously!) But IT’S OK!! Just wait a couple hours, usually much less they are busy tonight, and it will change to what the rep on the phone told you it would be. The system requires an override of sorts for these ADRs and it can take a supervisor a little bit to get into the system to change the ADR to what you made. You’ll get it, just be patient. I totally panicked tonight so save yourself a half an hour of Disney hold time- they’ll change it to what you agreed to. Also, they don’t have a completely free ability to override stuff so your results getting ADRs like this will vary. I also tried to change our Napa Rose ADR but there was no availability, I got my Blue Bayou lunch a half hour later than I hoped but was super happy since there was nothing open online.
