For anyone planning a visit to Pearl Harbor and planning to reserve tour tix in advance, be aware that--for summer months, at least--this is akin to getting Cali Grill ressies near Wishes time or a 7DMT or Frozen FP. The morning times disappear instantaneously. Just an FYI.

I have patrolling the website but tickets don't seem to go on sale until May for my july trip...everyone said to get them early, but I am worried I am missing something?
Is it possible to get them before May?

Says two months in advance. I just tried for our time in June and not open yet so will keep trying.

I was able to book tickets for our June visit exactly 60 days ahead at 1pm EST. I had the website pulled up, clicked when my work computer said 1pm, and it told me to try back after 1:00. I tried again a minute later and it worked. I agree- very similar to trying to book BOG ADRs when it first opened!! Good news is they have lots of walk-up tickets available if you get there EARLY. Otherwise you may have to go find something else to do and come back hours later for your assigned time.

What time slots were available to book right when it became available?

We have gone during the summer, and always just show up in the morning and get free tickets. We usually have a couple hours to kill then, so have explored the museum and done the guided submarine tour (extra small fee). I wouldn't worry too much!

We showed up the morning of and got our tickets. In fact, they reserve 1300 ticket each day for distribution the morning of.

I forgot about this and just tried to get tickets, but they are already sold out for when we will be there. Crossing fingers we can get tickets using the day before system. If we have to wait and get tickets the day of, do we have to be there at 7:00am? Does anyone know how quickly the tickets run out? We will be there at the beginning of June.

We showed up around 8:30-9am and got tickets for 1pm. After visiting for a while, we went over to the Swap Meet at Aloha Stadium and circled back after lunch.

Based on my experience, you can get timeslots for every 30 minutes starting at 8:30, but there are limited no of tickets that become available 60 days out. You actually have to book it within 5-10 minutes of the window when it becomes available to get the preferred morning timeslot. I logged in just at noon CST and was able to get 4 tickets for 9 AM. I logged back in 5 minuts and all tickets for 9 AM and 9:30 AM were gone.

Perfect! Thanks so much!!! The swap meet is on Saturdays and Sundays, correct? We are planning to do this on the weekend based on what I have read about Honolulu weekday traffic.

I refreshed my screen at 12:01 and everything was gone up until 11:00, where there were only 5 available. (I grabbed my 4.) The next day I tried again and within a little after 12, they were all gone up until the 1:00 slot.

That's why I posted to begging with--to let folks who really want a certain time slot to know how fast they can go.

I booked today for June 25. I was able to snag an 8:00 time slot. Here is what I did.... I created a login for recreation.gov in advance. At 12:55 I logged in to the website and went to the Pearl Harbor page. I selected June 25 and put in for 4 tickets. On the next screen, I selected the 8am time slot and 4 tickets for the narrated tour. As soon as my computer screen switched to 1pm EST, I clicked the "book now" button and went through the payment process, and got my confirmation for 8am. Out of curiosity, I went back to the website and all time slots until 2:00 were already gone! I hope this helps someone trying to book at the 60 day mark.

I was unable to get tickets online for the day we would like to go. It looks like they open at 7:00 a.m....if we show up at 7:00 a.m. that morning are we likely to get morning tickets or afternoon tickets or no tickets at all? I can't find clear information about how the 1300 tickets are given out. Is it so many for each tour?

I just booked ours for July 2, 2017 today. I followed @pam95 directions and it worked perfectly. I went back on the site to check 5 mis later and only after 2:00 pm were available. They go super fast.
