PSA: EZ pass scam

Im sure alot of people may have already heard about this but there is a email scam that says its from ez pass and you own money on a toll. This email is even going out to people that dont have sunpass/ ez pass . If you get a email dont click the link. I have a sunpass/ ez pass I use for vacation and I have not used it since my cruise in May so I knew it was a scam.

I know (from experience - lol) that ez pass will send a letter in the US mail with a copy of a photo of your license plate if you fail to pay a toll, or if your windshield transponder doesn't register when you go through the toll booth. They DO NOT send emails.

You have an option to respond back with your transponder number and avoid a fine if the transponder did not register when you go through the tollbooth.
