PSA: Baymax is a hit or miss * Update 3rd times a charm

Baymax is not always with Hiro at the meet and greet for Big Hero 6. This morning, Baymax was only out for 20 minutes at 11:00 a.m. We've struck out 2x now and only met Hiro who's cool. FYI

Update: 3rd times a charm. It was raining when we exited the meet and greet so we went back in line. The line was cut off one party before us so they could switch out Hiro and Baymax came out with him. We were finally able to meet Baymax. He's so cute when he hugged my DS. It did eat up 2 hours of time though.

This happened to us too when we lined up around 1:30 pm. Baymax had to go in to get re-charged when we were almost to the front of the line. It was fun meeting with Hiro. The next time we tried, we lined up by 10:00 am for the 10:30 am opening to ensure that we got both Hiro and Baymax before Baymax had to leave again.

Yep we had to line up at 9:30 for a 10:30am start and was able to meet him. The first time we lined up at 10am and the cm who manned the line told us that we probably won't see him since we were about 45min into the line.
So we decided to try the next time and was able to meet him.

It would be disappointing to line up for so long and not meet Baymax, particularly if time was not your advantage, can't they have another Baymax charged and ready to come out similar to when the Princesses go and another comes out immediately?

We are heading to the movies Saturday night to see Big Hero 6 and I know darn well my boys will want to meet both stars of the movie when we arrive at disneyland monday. I'm going to be so disappointed if we can't meet them both.

This may help as a general guideline.

One morning when we didn't line up for the meet and greet but just stayed on the gift shop side, Baymax came out at 10:30 a.m. when the meet and greet first started.

The one time we were in line, Baymax came out at 11:00 a.m.

So either Baymax comes out first thing or by 11:00 a.m. You'll get clued in by the cheering when he comes out.

Perhaps you could time your meet and greet between 10:30-11:30 a.m.

When we went a couple weeks ago, they would just let baymax and hiro leave then return together after a few minutes. I would be really bummed to not get a hug from him. Getting them together was really cool!
