Im thinking of getting my DS7 PS2 for Christmas. I'm a bit confused in regards to what I should be buying. Do I buythe console, controls and games separately or should I go for a "bundle". Game have a bundle that includes the camera game thingy ( you can see how technical i am) and a sonic game for £119, but my DS would really love Madagascar. Would I better off buying Madagascar, an extra control and console? Any ideas on what games are suitable would be great. :flower:

I went for a bundle for my DS just 'cos I'm sooo not techy,
good games he seems to like are the Crash Bandicoot series, The Jak series and The Simpsons. Personally I'm the queen of Toy Story 2 - I can whizz through all levels in a couple of hours :goodvibes

The problem with buying a bundle is you do not necessarily get the games you want.
It could depend on that perhaps?

camera game thingy is the Eye Toy
great fun for all the family and will keep you fit
my 7 year son got one last xmas

Thanks for all your advice. I think I'm going to go for the bundle at Game. I can't wait to try out the Eye Toy.
Would it be wise to have it set up (hidden) for Christmas morning and DS can open the box or is it idiot proof to install?

I have a Gamecube, a PS2 and an XBOX. The XBOX is by far the better of them, but for a child, there is a fair bit of novelty software available for the PS2, which makes it probably your best choice. I have the EyeToy, which the kids (or at least the older one) enjoy. I also have SingStars, where you get 2 microphones and have to sing along to pop songs. If your local Currys have any of the £25 gamecubes left, it might be worth it for the kids, I have Donkey Konga 1 & 2 with the bongo drums for mine and its great fun. There isnt too much available for the XBOX for kids, but once modded, its a superb machine, and at £79.99 from play247, its a great buy.

I have heard great things about the I-Toy. We just bought DDs a PS2 bundle for Christmas, which included an additional controller, a triple Rayman game and the new Buzz game, which I so can't wait to try - can't see the girls getting a look in on Christmas Day :rotfl:
