PS through DVC or Disney Dining?

Hi everyone -
I'm getting close to having to make my priority seatings. Do you usually just call DVC and have them make them for you? Or is it better to just call Disney Dining each day and make them yourself? Thanks for your help.

I recently called DVC to make dining reservations, but they would not make them since I am not using points for this trip. I was suprised but they did transfer me to Disney Dining.

I've gotten PS through DVC with no problems. The CM didn't seem quite as comfortable with the process as those you get at the dining line, but that maybe added 2 minutes to the call.

Due to the limited MS hours, you don't want to book a princess breakfast through DVC--they will probably all be gone by the time DVC opens. Other than that, go ahead and use that 800 number for your PS.

I have always used MS to make PS (members since 1994). We have never had a problem and get great service. Last year we decided to stay at Swan and rent our OKW points. I had to call DD for PS for Christmas week! The new 90 day for all rule messed up the first 2 CM I tried at DD for reservations for dinner at Cinderella's table. They told me it was only awailable until 5:45, but the June hours were not out yet. At day 91, I got a CM who took care of it all. I love MS.
