PS Seat Requests

I understand from talking to the disney people that I have to put my seating request in when I check in. I am wondering if those who have eaten at the spots we are going to - if you could suggest a good location. It is our first time so I have no idea what we can see from the various spots.

Chef Mickeys (brunch)
California Grill (7:30 pm)
Ohana (pm)
Princess Storybook (am)
Castle (am)
Crystal Palace (am)

Really there is not much to see outside the restaurants.
Chef Mickey is effectively all inside.
CG, if there will be fireworks at 9:00 or earlier you probably want a window seat.
Also for 'Ohana if you will be there during Wishes! you probably want a window seat.
PSB is inside the Akershus Castle and can't really see much outside.
CRT windows are not clear, so anything you see outside is distorted.
CO has some widow seats and you can see the people on the porch.

just remember that you might have to wait a LOT longer, or get there a LOT earlier......and they might not even be able to get you where you want.....

Thanks - I think we will just be happy wherever they seat us - I don't want to add to the wait. I will however ask for a window at Ohana if Wishes is scheduled while we are there - I have to check the schedule.

I want to add the best seat we ever had was in the castle by a window. We overlooked the carousel. It was beautiful. We didn't request it we just got lucky. You wait a long time here anyway so I can't imagine how much longer you would wait with a seat request.

Just be forwarned that at Ohana's not all window seats face towards the castle, and the ones that do are a very small amount as compared to the total size of the restaurant so you may have long wait.

At California Grill there are quite a few window seats, so the wait should be shorter.
