PS question

My wife made PS for the California Grill for Monday, 9/1. She just informed me that the CM making the PS for us required my wife to give her a credit card # in order to make the PS. Is this something new? We never had to give a credit card # except for V & A. Now that they have the credit card #, it would seem to me that we no longer have a PS at California Grill but now have an actual reservation. Any thoughts?

On holidays, credit cards are usually required at booking. You booked for Labor Day, which is a holiday. Enjoy!
