PS....Please help me understand

Hi All,

We have changed our plans and we are going to WDW instead of DL this year. We leave Aug 28, but won't go into WDW until Aug 29. It was short notice and we just planned everything this weekend! My DH and I have only been to WDW once, last year, and we never did any PS so I don't know how it works.

Can someone please explain to me how PS works? How do I know what places have PS? Is it too late to get PS for some places as we leave for WDW Aug 28. Is PS something we can do the same day, say we go to the restaurant in the am for PS that night?

Its never too late? Do you have the dining plan? Many have posted on the resteraunt board of the crowds and people being turned away without adr (the new acronym for PS = advanced dining reservation) it means the same thing.... Call Disney, you can use the 800-828-0228 number, listen for the prompts to get you to the wdw dining number...

Find out what places you are interested in, and be prepared to be flexable - there are always cancellations too - you never know if you dont ask!

If you need help with where - check out menus at www.allearsnet.com and read reviews on the dining board here!! Keep in mind everyone posts their opinions, and more will post if they have a vent or negative, than positive, so just go with the menus and your families stlye over anything else!!

the allearsnet site does have a place that lists the character meals, buffets etc...

If you have your heart set on one restaurant and can't get a ps (ADR) then make one for your second choice and keep calling every day to see if you can get the other one. No cost with the 800# just time

I would definatly try to make a few because you msy not be able to call when you get there or walk up. As a previous poster said the dining plan is making more people eat on property.Most all of Disney table service restaurants have pa's. I agree with checking allears as they have the lsiting of the menus and they are all listed by there location so it will be easy to figure out.
