Hi! This is my first post here but I have been lurking for some time. I wanted to post my PSs and see if anyone had any alternate suggestions. We are going to Disney for the first time in about 20 years, in June with our daughters (5 and 2), my parents, my brother and my neice (4). Here are our plans (all dinners excpet 6/14):

6/11 Crystal Palace Buffet with Pooh
6/12 Chef Mickeys
6/13 Ohana
6/14 my daughters 6th birthday!!! Lunch at CRT
6/15 Tonys Town Square
6/16 Cinderellas Gala Feast at GF
6/17 Rainforest Cafe

We had the Aloha Luau but heard such bad things about it and opted for Ohana instead.

WHat do you think?? I am just kind of going off of recommendations and our MYW dining brochure for making the resverations.

Any suggestions are welcome!!!!1

Thanks in advance!!!

Kelly

Sounds great! I'm afraid the MK may be extremely busy on 6/11, being a Saturday. We've scheduled Crystal Palace for breakfast that day so we can get inside the park before opening. Not that you have access to rides and things yet though.

They look fine. The only one I would change is Tony's. That was truly the only really bad meal we've ever had at MK. I would switch with Liberty Tree Tavern where we've always had a wonderful meal. Have fun. I think you made the right decision switching the Luau with Ohanas.

Thank you for your thoughts. I have the Passporter and it looked like Tony's got one of the higher ratings. I hate hearing bad reviews though!!! lol So, I will definitely look into Liberty Tree as well - that was on my list. It is on the dining plan too.

Thanks again!!

Oh thank goodness someone else didn't like Tony's. :cool1:
I went in 1997 and had a wonderful meal with DH. We took my parents in Nov 2003 and experienced the worst food and the worst service ever. My DD5 ordered the kid's size pizza and wouldn't even eat it after the first bite. I took a bite to see if she was just being picky and really just wanted to desert. NOPE. It was bad! My husband needed a knife to cut his meatballs, the list could go on. :confused3 Now I know I have been spoiled with an Italian GM but this food was just plain bad. :sad2:
The server was rude and snippy. I get better service from the teenagers at my local Friendly's than we got from this woman. I personally thought I was being super sensitive because I wanted everything perfect for my parents but my dad picked up on it and even made a comment to the server. My dad NEVER complains about this sort of stuff. He is a sort of live and learn type when it comes to eating out. In fact this was the first time to my knowledge that he ever complained directly to the person about the lack of service. :sad2:
I'm a big tipper when it comes to wait staff. I know its a hard job and the wait staff does not get appreciated as they should. So I normally tip 20% and then increase/decrease depending on quality or if its a holiday, etc. This woman got less than 10%. :headache: :headache: :headache:

Remember, this is just my opinion. ::MinnieMo

That you have a nice dinner at one of the World Showcase dining venues,LeCellier,Rose&Crown,Teppanyaki, etc.Or go to MGM and have a fun meal at Prime Time Cafe or Sci-Fi Diner. :goodvibes :flower: :wizard:
