PS on restuarants and using the AP

Can use some help here. we are going to US/IOA (yipee!) in June.. we will be getting at the HRH around 7:00 and will be starving, should I and how do I make PS for any of the restaurants in City Walk, or do I just go over there and flash my AP and get the next seat?? Not really sure how this AP that we just purchased works... any tidbits would help. We are there for 4 nights and I figure Jimmy Buffets, Hard Rock Cafe, NBA and Nascar might be the 4 since we have 3 children ( 7,11,14) little one fussy... thanks again!

The Hard Rock Cafe has a separate wait line for those staying at one of the three Universal Hotels. We used this on our last trip. It saved a lot of time. It was empty when we arrived. The other line was packed.

You can get "next available seating" at those restaurants by showing your room key from the HRH.
