I'm a veteran WDW visitor averaging 4-6 trips a year. We make alot of our PS before arriving for each visit. I just wanted to pass on to you guys some strange occurrences that happened yesterday. Since I hit my 60 day mark this weekend, I decided to start making my PS for my favorite places. I rarely do this, this early. I usually wait about a month before, but I was bored so started. I was shocked to find that I could only get into the 50s Prime Time the end of July at 5:55 PM. That was the latest left available. And as I made my dinner reservation for Hollywood and Vine and requested the 5:00 PM seating, the CM noted it was the last 5:00 PM seating left. While I had no problem getting Le Cellier for lunch the first week of August, I find this strange. I will call back next month and see if there are any later seatings at the 50sPT, I can only imagine that the restraurants that use to stay open until the parks closed, are now closing earlier?? I did make my Chef Mickey's PS on the 120 day mark to get an early 5:00 PM seating. I will make the rest of my PS next week as they hit their 60 day mark. So if you're waiting to get those PS seatings when you get there, be prepared for the possibility of not getting in the times you want. I was just in WDW in May and ate at Hollywood and Vine one evening with a PS and the CM came out and announced that only the folks holding PS would be accepted--no walk ins.
