How easy is it to change the number of guests on an established PS? Do you have to call WDW Dine everytime or can you just show up at the resturant with a different number of guests?

I am traveling with friends and am not sure if there will be 3, 4 or 5 persons at lunch or dinners, but I am afraid not to reserve a PS since this will be my first trip during Spring break. I don't want to end up eating counter service every time just because the waits at the sit downs are too long. We will be at WDW 3/23-3/27/04.

Our past trips have been when WDW was slow and changing a PS at the podium was not a problem, last Spring one morning the CP was drumming up business as people were walking to Adventureland.

When I have been uncertain of the party size I'll try and reserve for the largest possible group. I work under the assumption it is easier for them to have extra seats than too few. I also try to call as far in advance as I can (even if it is after arrival) to amend PS if I know someone will or will not make it.
