PS BEFORE Park opens

Does anyone know if you can take a more leisurly stroll to the restaraunt enabling one to take photos or do they escort you to the restaurant?

I have an 8 am seating for Donald's at AK and would love to get some unobstructed pictures while the park is empty. Will I be able to do this? Or will they whisk me directly to the restauraunt?

At Donald's at AK, we were escorted along with others that had our same early seating time. They walked pretty quickly, and I don't think they would have stopped for anyone to take a picture along the way.

Alternately, one of our favorite things to do is to get an early PS for Crystal Palace at MK. You're allowed to enter the park on your own here, and we enjoy taking some leisurely pictures in front of the castle without crowds around.

Yes, an early PS at MK is wonderful! We walked in by ourselves and the "official" Disney photographers were strolling around the street and we got a wonderful pic of our group on Main Street with the castle behind us. The only other person in the pic was a street sweeper in the back, but its a great pic! Its a whole different world before the crowds come in.
