PS at R&C bar?

My DW after and I are planning on doing Epcot on Oct 10th. We plan to head over to the ESPN Club around 12:30 to enjoy lunch at the bar and watch the Patriots-Dolphins game. Do we need a PS for this?? Also, we want to head back into Epcot and maybe get a drink at Royal and Crown. Can we sit at the bar w/out a PS? If we are there when Illuminations starts, can we head out onto the patio to watch?
