Hi guys, I was just wondering what forms of UK ID are acceptable for use in Disney. Last time we carried our passports round with us, but that seems a little risky to do again in case we lose it. Does anybody have any experience with this? I was thinking a driving licence would be okay, but the missus only has a learner's licence at the moment, has anybody had any trouble usng these?

Drivers will be fine. So long as your missis has the photo one i dont see any problems.
Last time we were there in Jan we were only asked sparedically. It was strange for the first week we weren't asked once for ID then we were asked everywhere including servers who had previously served us and not asked decided to start asking. :confused3

If it is a photocard licence then that should be fine.

As long as it has a photo and shows the DOB then they tend to accept most things - you might need to point out the DOB to them.

We swapped to the photo driving licence cards a couple of years ago because we got sick of carrying our passports around. In the times we have gone we have only been asked for ID on a couple of occasions.

I used a provisional driving licence at Disney as it was fine.

We photocopied the passports and changed our old driving licences into the photocard ones and were never asked once for them. We must look our age!!!!

I was only asked once and I was 25, I am often asked for id at home so was surpised.

We have photocopied our passport photo page (has to be black & white though), reduced it to credit car size and then laminated it. It then fits quite nicely into a wallet or purse.

Used this quite successfully last year, although don't usually get asked for it.

Hi guys, I was just wondering what forms of UK ID are acceptable for use in Disney.

I think they accept just about anything official with a photo on it.

I have an old-style driving licence without a photo and keep my passport locked up in the room safe.

I show them my Local Authority Taxi pass which has a photo. Never had it refused. It doesn't have my date of birth, but it is forty years since I was last mistaken for being under 21!!!

Thanks very much for all your info, it clears a few things up and puts my mind at rest.

The only time we find we are badgered to produce photo ID is when we want to park at a Disney Resort. We have old style driving licenses and have resorted to carrying our passports with us, which is a pain in the behind.

If you have a photo driving license you should be fine.

unlike over here,if you are stoped by police you have to prove who you are there and then.
They dont have an id card but you have to cary id at all times
