Just in case you were wondering, there are still a truckload of issues with MDE. What's that you say? You're not at all surprised? Well, me either. But it's still frustrating as all heck!!! :headache:

I have been trying to access MDE for months, but each time I have decided to ride it out and just wait for the glitches to be worked out. But now here I am, a few weeks from my 180 window, and I figured it was time to try to make some effort, lest I be SOL.

I have never been able to link my DVC account to MDE, because I can never get past the MDE sign in page. Once I sign in, it autofills all my correct information. HOWEVER - in the address section, it has a required pull down menu, asking me to select which Canadian province I live in. Which would be all well and good - if I lived in Canada!!! I live in NJ. All of my correct autofill information says I live in NJ. The NJ in the United States. But it still won't let me proceed until I select a province. (There is no "none" to choose.)

I was on the phone with DVC member accounts twice today, and WDW IT twice, also. Nobody has any idea what the problem is or how to fix it. They all claim they will "send it up" to their higher-ups, but in the meantime I'd better be finding another way to make my ressies. I'm going to be extremely disappointed if my only option is to call. We are trying to make ressies for Christmas week - that extra hour the online users get is a real advantage.

Anyone else have this "Providence" required glitch?

There is no real benefit to linking your DVc account to you MDE mine are linked and it does nothing other than list DVc as an affiliation.

What i did was set up a new disney account in MDE. Manually add my DVC reservations using the reservation number and had no problem doing dining reservations from there. We now have to accounts mine which is linked and we don't use it and my husbands which has all our dining and room reservations in it. a new member account seemed to be the solution. you can even do 180+10 after you add you room ressies.

What it does is gives you access to DVC Member pricing on special event tickets and Annual Passes using disneyworld.com.
