My baby brother, Brodey, graduated high school last night. He has grown into a little man and I could not be any prouder of him. It was a nice ceremony, kinda long but was well worth it! His last name starts with a V so it took a while to get to him but we all screamed and yelled when they called his name.

I did not know if I would see this day because our other brother dropped out but Brodey hung in there and worked hard to get to this point.

Now onto his next big step, I think I mentioned it here before - he has enlisted with the Marines. That will be a bittersweet day. It makes me more proud of him to know he wants to service his country yet I will be worried about him. he does not have the date yet where he will leave for Parris Island but I am sure it will be within the next few months.

Ok, I am rambling but I wanted to share my happiness for my brother. Hopefully some of the pics came out and I will try to see if I can get one posted.

That is great, Christine!! :bounce: Chrissi mentioed Brodey last night and I thought it so nice to hear. I recall your talking of him in the past, my congratulations to him. I can hear your pride. My best to him, safety and happiness, in the Marines. Nice.

PS: An edit here too, Christine, no need to say 'sorry', shout it out, every right to be proud, you, Brodey, Chrissi, all of you!!!!

Good for Brodey! You are certainly welcome to ramble and share your pride in this accomplishmetn and his plans for the future!! :)

I can understand your mixed feelings at his enlistment. (hugs)

Good for him! And you!

I know how you feel. My brother went through some rough times in HS and I had doubts as to whether or not he'd make it. He did too, and I know sometimes it's hard. My baby brother is getting married in 4 days!

Good for him! It sounds like he truly has direction in his life and is a terrific young man. You have every right to be proud!

Best wishes to both of you!

Congratulations to Brodey! And tell him (again) how grateful I am that he is willing to serve his country. He has my deep appreciation and my prayers!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc Good for him and your Family Christine! Hope to see you soon so I can give you a congrats  ;)
