Sadly we go home tonight but we've just been laughing at how my planning for first time with QSD has worked out! We have two meals left for lunch today and 6 snacks which I intend to use on Disney chocolate coins for Christmas treats! Proud it worked out so well first time!

In our resort (POFQ) we are allowed to swap the drink with meal to a snack so we regularly did that other than a few cappuccinos with breakfast. We made great use of snacks by reading various lists for best value - e.g. Plaza Ice Cream on Main Street, Grande Frappacinos at Starbucks in Epcot, the Beignet Sundae in Sassagoula Floatworks. On days we felt full we shared a meal e.g. An omelette with a danish for breakfast, a huge chicken Caesar Salad with fries for lunch. One lunch and one breakfast at BOG. Apart from one additional TS meal the plan has worked really well for us.

Im always intrigued to hear stories about planned QS meals....because thats something i never do. With QS, I always wing it. Glad it worked out well for you. I too just love having leftover snack credits. I love stocking up on treats to take home.

There were occasions I had to change plans e.g. at Typhoon Lagoon the snack shack I'd intended to use near our base stayed closed - we had quite a trek to get hot dogs for the sausage loving grandchildren!

I always plan my QS meals but I pretty much have to due to a food allergy and other restrictions. It stinks! But I would rather put in the additional time to make sure there is something safe for me to eat.

That's awesome!
