To avoid any confusion Sam is not posting this thread, i'm Richard, Sam's husband and original owner of this profile which Sam has now hijacked.
For 8 weeks at the start of this summer my DS and I have been on a South Wales Football Association referee's course. We recently sat our exam and our results came through last week.
We both passed, I scored 91% and my DS scored 93%.
By the way, my DS is 12 years old, has dyslexia and has only been playing football for 4 years.
I'm 37 and been involved in football as a coach and a player for over 20 years.
To say that Sam and I are extremely proud of our boy is an understatement.
I think he has performed brilliantly to achieve such an excellent result, despite what some people class as a disadvantage in education i.e. dyslexia.
I look forward with pride to next season when he will be taking up the whistle for his first competative matches.
