ProSport Sunscreen

Hi, wonder if you can help ?

We are regular visitors to the USA and always take our own sunscreen (P20). I have heard of a good sunscreen made in the USA which is applied once a day called ProSport. Is there anywhere in the Florida/Orlando area that will sell the above i.e. Walmart, Publixs, Eckerd.

Another sunscreen I have recently seen on the Eckerd Website is Bull Frog Gel. Has anyone any experience with this and does it really work for 8 hours after applying only once ?

I don't know about Prosport but P20 available here in the UK in Superdrug and also at the airports, works really well. You apply about 60 mins before exposure to the sun and that's it for the day. The clear liquid "bonds" to your skin and although I am fair and burn quite easily, I used only this product just recently in The Maldives (which is right near the equator) and I didn't burn at all AND came home with a great tan. It's also available in P40 but much more difficult to find.

As you noticed (eventually, sorry!!), we have used P20 for years but unfortunately it doesn't work for me at all and I'm olive skinned - works for my son and husband though.

I had read recently about ProSport (same idea as P20) and wondered if it was available to by in the stores in the USA - can get it over the web, but not worth the hastle or p&p.

Another one I wanted info on was Bull Frog but have since found all the info I need and shall purchase when we go in August.

It's a shame no-one on the US board could help but never mind it made me do searches and got the results I wanted.

I'll probably stick to the UK boards in future.

Onlyholly--We are BIG fans of Bullfrog. I am a very fair skinned lass of Irish and Scots descent . We use the Bullfrog SPF 36 spray gel, and so far, no burns. We do reapply a couple of times during the day, just to be safe, but this stuff is the MOST water proof and sweatproof I have ever found.

My DS is on summer vacation, and is attending a day camp, where they are outdoors all day every day, and in the pool twice a day, and he has been for a week with absolutely NO burning using the Bullfrog.

Hope this helps, and don't just stick to the UK boards, some boards just move faster than others! Plus this is also a long holiday weekend for us here, and I suspect lots of folks are travelling, vacationing, and having fun outdoors!

As yours, I have seen nothing but good words spoken about Bull Frog and will definately buy it when we are over on your side of the pond.

Didn't realise it was a long holiday weekend, that explains why the boards are very quiet. I thought no-one wanted to answer because I had asked a question that had been asked a million times and people do get bored of answering the same questions over and over again (I know I do). I only reaslised this when I did a search and saw how many people had asked about it.
