My DH and I will be going to WDW next year in either late May or early June :bounce:
My DH does not want to be driving during the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.
So, we can either arrive 5/25/05 and depart 6/4/05 or
arrive 6/2/05 and depart 6/11/05.
I am wondering if the crowds on Memorial Day will make any park touring miserable?

Welcome to the Dis Bard:wave: I think the crowds prior to Memorial weekend won't be too bad, but during and after:earseek:

The funny thing I've found is that people who think the parks will be busy on Memorial Day tend to stay away and then the exact opposite. Around the holiday though is quite busy. A point of interest though about your before and after. The seasons change during the first week of June, so you may get a higher rate to pay for hotels if you go the second schedule, versus the first. Something to keep in mind.

I have the same issue. Search is down and we are trying to plan on going next year as soon as the kids get out of school, which will be May 28th- June 4th. Will that be a crazy busy time?

I have been at this time of the year 3 times, 4 in a few weeks! We have found that Memorial Day Weekend is quite busy, but manageable and then the crowds drop off significantly the rest of the week. We will arrive this year on Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend and stay until Saturday. This will be just a few days after my kids get out off school which makes for an exciting trip, the kids are excited about getting out of school and then almost immediately head for WDW. What could be better?

That's what I had originally thought. That The weekend will be crowded, but we can drive in then and maybe spend a day or two doing the other things like Seaworld, waterparks, etc.

I concur with photobob, Memorial Weekend and week are not that bad. This will be our 5th year and it is a little busy on the weekend and Monday but the rest of the time it is great. Its busy enough where everything is open but not so that you cannot enjoy yourself.
