I have read various pros and cons for taking advantage of EMH or avoiding the parks with EMH. I am hoping that some DIS's who were at WDW the same time last year as we are going (9th to 16th Dec) this year can share their experiences with me, so I can once and for all make up my mind what to do.I have decided I am not going to change my ADR's around for any morning EMH but I am undecided what to do about, in particular, MK EMH...attend or avoid???And if we did attend MK during the day there is an EMH night is it "busier" all day or just in the evening?

Well, nighttime EMH didn't exist last Dec, so it's anyones guess.

Morning EMH's are wonderful - but later in the day the park will be even more crowded than normal (all the people that scheduled a MK day for that day, for instance, who tried to get up but didn't make it). Best advice is to go, IF you can get there before opening, and then leave around lunch as it gets busy. Hit another park in the afternoon.

Evening EMH's are a mixed bag. You need to know what to expect. If you expect to walk on rides, you will be disapointed. Even so, lines get more managable as the evening goes on. For me, being in the parks after dark for an extra three hours is enough (especially when for the last hour many rides ARE walk-on), but many people don't like them. I say give it a whirl - it's so magical at night!
