i am planning another trip for me and my gf of 6 years and its finally the time to pop the question. our first trip was i sept 06 and we had a great time. (all of her friends thought this was when it was going to happen but it was just a scouting trip) she loved the fireworks at mk the best and im thinking this is the place any tips or ideas to make this very special for her?

I think that the best place would be on the beach at the Poly during Wishes if you want to go cheap. If you want to have a dining experience you can go to CG or Cinderella's Castle for dinner. In addition there is GOAL that can help you plan a wonderful event. It stands for Gifts of a Lifetime. Not cheap but really fab events! if you're looking to do it durring wishes theres a few options. Like said before be, watch wishes from the beach at the poly, great (and private) view!

You can also go to the california grill and request a window seat durring fireworks. Another great view of the fireworks and (i think) they pipe in the music and dim the lights. Theres also an outdoor balcony there where you can watch the show

Then theres the wishes boat crusie. Its a little costly buts its super romantic and private.

Also the classic right in the middle of everyone durring fireworks in the park (althogh not a good idea if shes shy)

and yes, Jane from GOAL is fantastic. My fiance used it in November when we got engaged and it was fantastic. It wasn't durring fireworks, but we did a treasure hunt on the beach of the poly.

My vote is for cinderella's castle! That's were my df did it and we loved it! It was wonderful!

I have to agree! My DF proposed right in front of the Castle in front of everyone during Wishes. It was perfect. But, be careful. They usually rope off that area during the fireworks, but my DF managed to talk his way through the guard.

I was proposed to at the GF in Dec 06. I was fully expecting him to propose during our dinner at the California Grill during wishes. But he knew that i saw that one coming and really wanted to surprise me!! So we were at the GF looking around and he proposed on the beach of the GF. Totally unexpected!!

My vote is to surprise her when she least expects it, it really makes it that much more special!!
