Proof that the CMs just don't know about Free Dining ...

I just got off the phone with the absolutely sweetest CM (making ADRs) ... she explained that I'd have to prepay CRT unless we had the DDP so I said I'd wait because we may be booking in the next couple of days. She said "Oh, are you waiting for the free dining to come out?" Of course I am Since she was so nice I asked if she knew anything about it and she said "Well, they've been doing it every year ... usually its from early August to late September ... it should be out by the end of April." Now, although she was almost telling me for sure that it was coming (which I know that the DISers pretty much know) her dates were completely off according to everything we've been reading here. So, while she was SO nice and I enjoyed chatting with her I really think that they just don't know ... probably won't until right before we do.

When I called to make my ADR's, the cast member told me the free dining offer would probably come out in June. I agree, I think most CM's are just guessing. Also, I called this morning at 7 EST to update my ressies with Free DDP. Of course, it wasn't available. But, I was definitely not the first caller the CM had received this morning about the free DDP. She even asked me about the ad on the Disney home page and wanted to know where it was.
