As DizMe said, there are usually really good AP rates (I guess the next one we would be expecting would be AP9? Or are we still on AP8? I can't recall! In any case, something like that!) - last year I switched my entire existing reservation/plan (meaning the dates and the hotel) based on really good AP rates that came out that saved me a bunch of money from what I would have spent without the AP rate.
Also, there generally seem to be a couple of different PIN code offers or discounts floating around at that time of year too. Last year there was one which came out in the summer and I think it extended all the way to mid-December, and then there was a second offer of some kind (either via mail or on the DLR website) which extended to around that same time frame, give or take a day. Those discount offers are tricky, though - for the PIN code offers, you have to actually receive the offer from DLR via snail mail or e-mail. Unfortunately, you can't use anyone else's PIN code offer unless you all plan to stay at the hotel together and that person with the offer can show ID if needed. And one of the special online offers I saw at some point last year (on the DLR website) I assumed would be accessible to anyone, but it turned out - when I looked into it further - that it was a special SoCal resident discount hotel offer.
So there may or may not be special offers floating around a couple of months before November, and if there are, they may or may not be available online to everyone or only sent through exclusive e-mail or mail invitation.
