Promo Question

I just spoke with my guide and he was unable to tell me the promotions over the phone due to the real estate laws. I did ask if there was a promo going on for 110+ points for $10 off. He was able to hint that was going on but he did say there were other promos as well & to make sure I am in to visit before April 14th.

So - I have a question! What other promos are going on besides the $10??

Any information would be greatly appreciated as I would like to have as much info as possible before we go so we will not feel rushed into a decision.

The latest deal is this, with a referral.

the incentive deal is the $8 credit for AKV or $10 credit for SSR
Plus :
Option #1 a $500 Disney Gift Card with a 160 point contract or
Option #2 a $1000 Disney Gift Card with a 320 point contract
This is the same for new or current DVC members

One more thing, there is rumor that the prices will be going up soon. Most have posted that it will occur sometime this month.

Thanks. We are only looking to add-on 100 points. We already have 200 at SSR. If you do not go to 110 is it just regular price?

My guide did say that it was important that I got in before April 14 as there will be "changes". Luckiy we are staying at Animal Kingdon from April 9-20, so we wil have a few days.

Yes, for existing members, I think the incentive threshhold is 110 points. You might consider buying the extra 10 points - for the $10 discount and $500 gift card you'll come out ahead ... and have an extra 10 points to enjoy.

This is only our second stay with DVC. Last year we went to SSR. I am very excited - I have never ventured over to AKL to check it out before!

We been to AKL for dinner at Boma's but have never stayed. This will be our first stay to Animal Kingdom Resort. We are going for an early anniversary getaway.

Sorry another questions. I thought the threshhold to get the $500 card was 160 points?
