Sooo..this year's prom theme is vintage
20s
30s
40s
50s
60s
i need some help finding dresses!

the dress code:
no cleveage
the slit can't be higher than the knee
the back of the dress can't go lower than the waist
it needs to be midcalf or floorlength

help please?
it would be nice if they were under $250 as well..

Umm...also I'm TOTALLY jealous of your theme.
This girl @ my prom had the CUTEST vintage dress that she got off ebay...she wore little gloves and did her hair all old timey too.

Ummm...I honestly have NO idea where one might find a vintage dress--other than online. Also I don't know what the stores are like around you.

If you don't mind getting it online though--just do a google search and I bet you'll find TONS of stuff.
Even if you don't want to get it online I bet you could get some ideas.
Google "vintage clothes (/dresses) + (your city/state)"

this one's cool---it's got vintage-y looking dresses, but they're also modern-y as well. i like a lot of them on there. pretty good price-wise too
and you can search by era depending which one you're looking into

there are TONS on google. you could spend hours looking!

and by the looks of most of these dresses, it also looks like you shouldnt have too much trouble adhering to the dress code with the vintage theme hehe

OMG, those first two dresses are gorg! My mom was making fun of me when I tried on this vintage style dress at Forever 21. Oh, what I would give to raid my grandmother's closet! She was a seamstress back then - she's had to make some gorg clothes.

i'm stuck between that one and the black and white one.
i'm afraid the blue one might be a little cheap looking.
plus, the red lipstick would go easily with the black and white dress, given it's the 30s era.
