It was mommy who had the break down.. her hair would NOT curl.. WE had it in curlers for 4 hours.... and spread it w/ hairspray.... and as we careful took the spiral curls out her hair just went flat... (I think it has a curse since it is naturally curly, wavy).... Next year we will spend 4 hours w/ a hair dresser to deal with this...

She wants to get a dress like Pippa wore for the Royal Wedding.. DH told me to start searching on line because he'd pay for it! (hope we can find one similar)...

We paid the hair dresser to do Rachel's hair (it is wavy too). It was the BEST money I spent for her prom attire

Everyone's pics are great, DS's prom isn't until May 20, which is the last day of school for him too! I can't believe he is done, it seems like last week I was putting him on the bus for Kindergarten!!

Most definitely!!! My DD doesn't graduate till next year but I already have the checklist to make sure we don't forget anything between now and then! We even started the pre-dorm life needs checklist... (actually started buying those items too).... I swear I just sent her off to kindergarten yesterday... the time sure does fly by!!!

We have plenty of dresses for our niece!!! We are gonna "trash" this dress for her Senior photos! But we have the pretty blue one, a yellow one, and about a dozen others!!!

Listen all you "youngsters," my prom was so long ago that I am not sure the word was invented then! I did go to one special dance with a boy I really liked, the St. Nicholas Cotillion, but then I heard yrs later that he went in the priesthood!!!!Cheryl, your daughters look lovely. We have 5 daughters, and each of them are unique. That's what makes our lives so wonderful!!

My sons' prom is today as we speak..I am so mad my camera just locked up on me..I am hoping my moms worked out well..He took her camera to the prom so i did not really get to check them out online so I hope they all turn out on that one or I am gonna be so mad I could spit nails..I hate camera issues, seems they always happen at important times, last time we went to WDW mine broke and I threw a mild..(ok ok not mild at all, it was a full on) fit...And when mama throws a fit...it isn't pretty..at all lol

Here is my DS and his date/girlfriend.

They look cute together, sent them off on the bus after walking down the red carpet. They will be back at the school around midnight and then here for the remainder of the night. Wish me luck with what is bound to be an allnighter.

Maybe we could trade older kids for a weekend... I've got a 17 yo w/ attitude..and a 15yo that is hit and miss... LOL I have the same issue here... I'm the mom but I know nothing...

To beat this issue: I go down and find that country song "back when I knew it all" blare it on full blast that sends them off to their rooms and they return with better attitudes..

They had a great time, returned here about 12:45 and watched movies until after 3AM. Then they decided to wake me at 8:25 AM to tell me they were going to breakfast...I really wish I was young again so I could keep up with them. Youth really is wasted on the young!!!
