Prom Nights ~ Past & Present

As some of you may know, both Joh and I are having fun Prom Dress hunting for our daughters. So I was wondering if anyone else is going through this at the moment ?

I thought it would also be fun to see what kind of dresses your daughters are looking for, and if you've got any photos of either yourself at your Prom, (unfortunately we didn't have Prom's back in the olden days ) or if you have any photos of your beautiful daughter's or handsome son's from their Prom Night

This is the dress that Becky is after, it's from Monsoon

Unfortunately it wasn't in either the Coventry or Nuneaton stores, but she tried this one on to get an idea, and it looked lovely

I'd really like her to try it on first before I buy it, but if I don't find it soon, then I'll just order it on-line

Yes - Katie's prom is in June and she still hasn't a clue what type of dress she really wants.

However, we're off to New York in 4 weeks so she's very excited about looking around over there . . . .

Laura, you look fab - and Mandy, what a beautiful dress from Monsoon, I love their clothes.

Mandy I've just re-read what you posted initially.... have you thought about ordering the dress for Becky? I had to order my dress from Monsoon because they were all out of my size and they were so helpful, looked in every shop for me and I eventually got a package sent from Taunton with my dress in it! They were so lovely about it! I would definately ask in store!

what great photos Unfortunately we just had school discos when I was at School !! We've got a few years to go before dd has her prom but ds had his last year and it was fab, it was lovely taking him for his suit ... I was a very proud mum

This is one that DD likes from Monsoon but they haven't had it in any of the Monsoon stores we've visited - I may try ordering it too then

Mandy that dress is beautiful, it will really suit Becky. Kerry looked lovely in her dress too.

Unfortunately they never had Proms in my day either just Disco's.

Mandy and Joh is green the colour at the moment? They're lovely dresses, actually thinking about it the dress I wore to my sixth form leavers ball was green too, not quite so elegant though with it's puffy sleeves

TBH Jo, you can buy dresses in just about any colour at the moment ~ there's quite a good choice too

I've ordered Becky's dress this morning. I can't wait for it to arrive, and Becky is excited too
