Progressive Insurance

I just received a quote from Progressive insurance for our vehicles and home that is significantly less that what we are paying AAA insurance currently. Same exact coverage we now have. My question is how reliable is Progressive with customer service, on working with you on claims, etc.? I'd hate to give up insurance I've had for five years without a problem to move to something I'd have issues with but I do want to save some money as well. TIA!

Only had to file a claim one time...right after I moved to FL I had my car broken into (nothing taken...just driver's window was broken).

They sent someone out to replace the glass in my driver door and vacuum out as much of the broken glass as they could.

Rates never changed.

Switched to a broker that was handling my homeowners, too, and now my Progressive rates dropped.

Had them for several years and not one issue. Always easy to access stuff online, too, in case you need to print out an insurance card or adjust anything on the policy.

I've filed just about every kind of auto claim with them in the last 10 years and they have been awesome every time! We've had a totaled car in a head on collision, fender bender, auto/deer collision, car broken into, hit and run, hail damage.... When we've had accidents, they call often to make sure we are ok and are very prompt when getting our cars repaired.

I've had Progressive for 6 years. And they have been absolutely wonderful.

We don't have their insurance, but we were hit by someone who did and they were wonderful. They had someone out that night and we had a rental car that evening and our car was in the shop the next day!

I have nothing but good thing to say about Progressive. We've had 2 at fault accidents (one of which involved 3 vehicles ) and one accident w/ an uninsured driver. All of those were within 18 mos. Everything was handled beautifully each time and they NEVER adjusted our rates or dropped us. I was fully expecting to have a major adjustment or get dropped after the 3 car accident, which was the 2nd at fault. Our rates are about 1/4 of what we could get anywhere else.
