Evening all

I was wondering if anyone has any information on the refurbishment at the Newport?
What's closed / open or due to reopen soon? What sections of the rooms are done and are they being allocated to guests at present?

We go mid March and the restaurant reservation line has the Yacht Club down to still be closed - does anyone know if that's definite? I'm hoping by some fluke they are wrong as it was a restaurant I was looking forward to trying.

Thanks
Kiz

This is from an email I received a few days ago with an update on the refurbishment of the Newport Bay Club Hotel:

Guests are now being allocated the refurbished rooms but there are no lake side view rooms being allocated.

The Pool has re-opend

Gym is closed
The Shop is closed
The Bar is closed
The Yacht Club is closed
The Lobby area is undergoing refurbishment.

Oh no Jonjo! What was I thinking :scared:
this could be a disaster! I wonder is there anything to make up for the lack of a shop... think I'll send an email too closer to when we leave. Which address did you use if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks for your help

Try this one dlp.npb.front.office@disney.com.

We were scheduled to stay at NPBC this summer but due to the refurbishment we moved our booking to the Sequoia Lodge.

When the pool was closed they were giving guests €50 compensation vouchers.

We booked thru the .fr site and current availability is nonexistent so a move might not even be an option (extra €220 to move to SF/HC or €300+ for SQL/HNY).

Thanks Jonjo - ill email tomorrow :thumbsup2
