Professional Portraits

The last 2 years, my family has done DCL, and each year we had a family portrait done. We kinda like this new tradition, and were wondering if there is somewhere to have one done.

I know they have photographers in the parks, but we would really prefer something a bit more formal (not sweaty and sticky, we are going in August)

There used to be a fantastic portrait artist named Echo Keller in the Lobby of the Yacht Club Resort that does excellent work...she has done both of our kids, many years apart. They hang side by side in a hallway at home and bring us many great memories...

We had a nice picture taken at Studio M in Downtown Disney -- not sure if it is still there. There was a backdrop of MK and Mickey was there to pose with us. We were dressed up a little for a night out, and it was an airconditioned studio.

We have had portraits of our children done twice in MK by an artist named Annie who works in Liberty Square. She's been there for 9 years and is there now because we saw her last week. They're on white paper but she shades in a background color. They are done in pastel. I really like mine and think they are good likenesses of my children. We made an appointment with her on the morning of our MK day and went back later for the portraits. She took about 30 minutes for each child. They can do singles or groups, but I've only seen samples of portraits with two people in them. The paper sheet is about 11x14.
