Do we have to wear our professional clothing to our classes? I know it is required for Traditions but I can't seem to find anything that specifies whether it is required for classes or not.

Professional dress is required in class, and they will send you home and count you absent if you're not dressed professionally (or in your official costume, nametag and all). More than two absences get you dropped from the course, so definitely make sure you have professional wear.

With that said, I have two dress pants and about four dress shirts, and that has been plenty for me. I'm taking two classes here now. (I also have some skirts that would be appropriate, but I haven't even used them for class yet) Just in case you were wondering for packing reasons. :)

I'm just curious, do people actually wear their costumes to class often? I thought you couldn't be scheduled on days you have class, so why would you wear your costume unless you had work before or after?

Some people do, but most wear normal Disney look/professional clothing. The people I remember wearing their costumes were some lifegaurds (they had shorts and a polo shirt as their costume, and there were about three in my class that wore their costume every week). There was also someone who worked at Mission Space that wore their costume. (they basically look like pajamas)

And you can be scheduled on days you have class just not during your class. although they usually make your days off the days you have class. there were only a few times when i had class from 9-11 and then worked at 3. I think it was the week of easter and the week after, when it was super busy.

Haha, I remember being so jealous of the lifeguards. I had 8am class and the lifeguards would roll in in their winter wear, which was essentially sweatpants and a windbreaker. Occasionally other people showed up in their costumes, but it was really rare. Some kids did have to catch the bus right after class to go to work, since you have to leave like two hours before your shift, but usually most people wouldn't be caught dead in their costumes outside of work.

Those who take the buses to get to work probably would dress in their costumes if work was scheduled after class. It took about an hour to get to the Magic Kingdom from Chattham, so that would be a good reason why wearing your costume is sometimes necessary.
