One of the DCL content creators I follow online shared a tip that the stores run out of certain merchandise very early in the cruise and to shop the first evening. They mentioned the stores open at 6 PM, but with early dining and a show afterward, I'm afraid we won't get there. Can anyone tell me if they frequently run out of merch and how late they're open?

Along the same lines... our Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment is not until late afternoon the last full day of the cruise, and now I'm wondering if we should expect product shortages there? For how expensive it is, I would be disappointed if costume choices were limited, but it will be easier for me to manage expectations with my little one if we know ahead of time if this is likely.

I don't recall any shortage issues pre-'rona on the 'older' ships.

On the Wish, yeah the inaugural knick knacks and souvenirs don't hang around long. They had an inaugural magnet the first night of our B2B. Next night they were gone and never restocked cause I checked as soon as the stores open.

You can excuse yourself from the dinner table for a few minutes if there is something you think you absolutely have to have.

I should add, there's nothing specific I have in mind to get. Perhaps an ornament or a little trinket for my daughter. This is our first cruise, and when I heard that I was picturing like a tiny shop totally wiped out!

Some collectible items can run out, like the lobby statues or replicas of the ship, and some sizes can also run out, but they have plenty of available merchandise throughout the cruise. If you are not out to get something very specific, there’s no reason to run to the stores on the first evening.

On the Magic each and every cruise I did this Summer there was a run on the supplu of Spirit Jersey with the 'Magic' logo... On the British Isles they had received a nice stock that lasted throughout the cruise (but not every size)

I did a 4-night Wish cruise in early October - though I walked through the shop late on the first night, I did not purchase anything until the last evening. I have no clue if they ran out of certain items, but there were plenty of Wish inaugural items to choose from when I shopped on the last evening (I bought a hoodie sweatshirt). If you aren't looking for a specific item, I think you will be fine shopping when it is convenient for you. The line to enter upon opening on the first evening was very long.

I don’t think you should have any problem with BBB but you could go the first night and look to see what they have even buy it and use it until your appointment day .
