So, I started my masters (MA in Organizational Leadership of all things) in January 2007. I finished all of my coursework in August with a 4.0 GPA. All I need to do to graduate in December is finish a stupid research paper which I finished half of in the Spring. I'm a definite Urgent Quadrant person and do get a jolt by working on deadline.
I have to write up the research methodology (which I've done), and the discussion. I've been putting this off and putting this off since late September. Now I have submit by Monday or I might not graduate.....
Granted, I've been job hunting and interviewing, but there's really no reason for this procrastination......It's even worse because I'm home during the day while the family's off working and at school.
So....here I sit on the DisBoards....knowing I'm not doing what I should be and knowing it's a real chink in my character letting it happen (or not happen!). What do you do when you're putting off something important to do? How do you get over the hump?
