Process for using Virgin airmiles to upgrade?

I'm think of using our airmiles to upgrade from economy to premium on or next trip.

Do I just book online as normal in economy to start with? (I like to use topcashback so do it online).

The can I upgrade online with miles, or do I need to call?

Or is the process something entirely different?

Never done this before, so any advice much appreciated!

You can only upgrade certain classes of tickets so you may not be able to use your normal cash back site to book the original tickets. TBH if I were you I'd call the Virgin frequent flyer customer service and get them to book it they can then do the upgrade at the same time.

You can also only upgrade if there are reward seats available in the class you want to book.

How do you use Topcashback? I can't seem to find Virgin Atlantic on any of them!

I had a look yesterday, it's not on there anymore. Definitely used to be
