Problems!!!!!!!!!

We've been visitig the "World" since 1996 and have encontered a few problems along the way but when we cited a complaint it was always taken care of with for the most part the exception of 2 times. Once was in 1997 at the Contemporary and once was at the Grand Floridian in 1999. The 1st was the fact that there looked to be like a huge greasy oil stain on the carpet and quite honestly the room was downright dirty. The head of housekeeping saw what we were dealing with and whole heartedly agreed that the room was not acceptable and moved us to the 12th floor which was the Tower Club and we had a nice stay, not because it was the Tower Club, granted that was nice but it was due to the fact that someone actually cared.. The 2nd was at the GF. and we asked for smoking and the room we were booked into obviously wasn't and we were left with very terse notes on that the room we were staying in was non-smoking. This was from housekeeping and believe me not only did they leave very nasty notes they also left the balcony door open which not only let in a lot of bugs, it also made the room temp. go way up and this was in July!!! We called the front desk several times and nothing was ever done and the notes just kept coming!!! Please keep in mind that believe it or not we are smokers but never break the rules weather it's in the parks or at the resorts. It's funny after all these years the staff at the GF couldn't have cared less at the ones at the Contemporary hit a home run. Just my 2 cents. What have been your experiences?? Chip.
