Problems with split stays & DDP

We moved from AKV to BWV today. Our leftover dining credits were "erased" when we checked in at BWV. Unfortunately, we found out while trying to purchase snacks at the F&G booth. After 45mins on the phone with BW, not only did they not resolve it, but I somehow lost charging privileges on my MB :headache: My MIL was the only one who could charge, and that's likely because she was not with us at AKV.

The resolution they provided on the phone is to charge to the room and then settle the room charges and leftover DDP with BW front desk. Hopefully they will honor it. All I can say is, I'm so glad I opted not to get DDP for each of our split stays. I can only imagine that headache.
 
Sorry to hear that! We had our first split stay in November and went from AKV to BLT. I found out that I need to check in to BLT before I could use the credits from that part of my stay. I had to do that because we didn't have any TS left. I didn't have any left from the first part of the stay to worry about losing. There was a mistake made at dinner at Coral Reef where they charged more credits for our meal. I went to the concierge at the Contemporary and they straightened it out without a problem. I am sure that they will be able to help you - they have a list in their computer how many credits you were entitled to and how many you used. Still, I know it is frustrating when you do everything right and something goes wrong with the system. We are done with the dining plan. We used it for many years and did not use it for the first time on a trip in march. I am happier without it.
 
Just happened to me too. I checked into my new room(stayed in BWV studio one night before moving to a one bedroom villa for the next 3) and still my ddp for the next 3 days wasn't "available"to me until the following day. The front desk helped me straighten it out....but who wants to spend time doing this? She said that the change over day always tends to get messed up and to just charge to the room and they can fix it later. And they did!
