Problems with our City Pass booked through Disney!

We recently booked a Disney package and bought a City Pass from Disney. I told the Cast Member that we were flying into San Diego on Friday July 30, planning to do Sea World that night and planning to do the Zoo the next morning. I told the cast member that we would be checking into our Disney resort on August 1. I got my documents a couple of days ago and stamped on the front of our City Passes is "Valid for 14 days beginning August 1, 2010". I thought wow, we're getting there July 30, and so I immediately called Disney. The cast member put me on hold while she talked to her supervisor who said that the passes are actually good 7 days before that date and that I wouldn't have any problem. Well I hope the gate attendant at Sea World knows that. I also hope that we don't run into a hassle everywhere we go. Has anyone ever run into this?

Hmmm, I've never tried to use one before the printed date, but we did use a City Pass admission exactly 14 days after the printed date, and the guy at the Universal ticket booth made us wait while he got a supervisor to verify that it was OK to take. So I know they check the dates carefully at USH.

I think I'd call the City Pass folks directly to verify what the DL CM told you if I were you.
