Problems with Mickey's Philharmagic?

I just got an email that my FP for Mickey's Philharmagic on May 1 was being cancelled and replaced with one for the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, which I am not interested in, so I cancelled the FP. Looking down the list of attractions for that day in that park, it says Philharmagic is currently unavailable for FP though standby may be available. Can anyone tell me if they've heard of any problems with that attraction? The website also says it can't display my full itinerary and to try again later. I would be grateful for any light anyone can shine on this!

It is unavailable for all of the several days I checked, maybe it means something else...
Anyway, there is no need to use a FP for Philharmagic.

Not that I want to happen soon, but Philharmagic is need of a refurb. The theatre itself is in rough shape.

The film stopped a few minutes into the film when we were there in September, and it took them a good 20 minutes to get going again. They were encouraging people to leave, but it was pouring rain so we waited it out.

I completely agree it needs a refurb and possibly update. It looks pretty tired and old.

I also love Philharmagic. I hope they get it going again. As a side note, Laugh Floor is awesome! I do that attraction several times a trip. Cracks me up every time. If you have never been in Laugh Floor, you have to do it.

Its not listed as a temporary refurb on any of the sites i checked. I wonder what the deal is...

It is not being removed.
It is one of THE most popular of the WDW 3D films.

Perhaps NO ONE can find the hat!!! They're doing a "deep cleaning" to find it!

Im hoping if it is running when I'm there, that the standby line isnt too long. Because its obviously too close to the date to try and rebook the FP.

You don’t need a Fastpass for Philharmagic. It’s a theater and they let in quite a lot of people at a time.

There have been a couple of times I've walked past and had to drop plans to see it because the line was huge and not moving very fast. Maybe I just go past at the wrong times.

The line doesn't move fast necessarily because it moves all at once every 10 minutes or so. It's a big auditorium- I have a hard time thinking you'd wait through more than two shows to get in, if that.

I love Philharmagic, but it's true that FPs for that show are useless. Any ride would be a much better choice.

As for Laugh Floor, I do recommend it. It's funny and clever.

DW and I were surprised and disappointed to find Philharmagic closed when we popped into MK on March 22nd. The CM was very apologetic but could not say when it would reopen. It is one of our "must do's" when we visit MK.

We were only in MK for a couple of hours and never wandered back to see if it reopened.

We love Philharmagic. It's the first thing we usually do in MK. I sure hope it gets a refurb but not a do over.
