Problems with Disney Infinity Screen Freeze

Santa brought Disney Infinity for the xbox one for Christmas. They love it but I am frustrated with this game. The screen freezes usually once every time they play. It will not let the 2nd player in the game unless you press the button at the beginning of the game. Otherwise, if one kid shows up 20 minutes into the game and wants to play we have to shut the entire system down and restart.

Does anyone else have problems with this game? We rarely have problems like this with other games we own - lego series, minecraft, etc. So I know it's not a problem with the xbox one itself.

We have it on Wii U. No problems.

You might want to do a Google search for this issue. If it has happened to anyone else, you'll probably find a solution. We haven't had any issues on an Xbox 360 or WiiU.
