Problems joining VMK - Help please!

My dh tried to join VMK, but it says user name already used... can someone please explain how to fix this? My account uses a different email and I can't seem to create another character either.
I have sent an email to VMK but they don't seem interested in replying to me.... I'm hoping someone here can help.

It means just what it says, that SOMEONE had already used that username or EMail address. If you have used it on ANY Disney site that someone would be you and all you have to do is use the same password that you used before. If you haven't used it elsewhere on Disney, you will have to choose another username / EMail address.

Sorry for the confusion..... yes, dh is my hubby. I don't have any other emails to use..... I get very confused over call this computer stuff too.... like, why can't VMK make it easy to join??

The EMail you use does not have to be a valid EMail address. You can just make one up that you can remember. To keep from using someone else's valid EMail address you can use something like:
BobRichmond@BobRichmond.us (easy to remember)
or
abcdefg@hijklm.us (unlikely to be used)

To be sure it isn't in use just send an EMail to it and see if it bounces back as invalid.
