Problem with the DIS app for iphone

Hi!

I just got a smart phone (iphone 5) and downloaded the DIS app. However, I can't log in.

I am thinking it is my name and I use the • symbol.?

Could you give me some insight into what the problem could be?

I would also guess the odd symbol is the case too.
