Problem with TA and ME arrangements,help!

We booked with AAA and are splitting our stay. My TA has us booked with magical express arriving at the Pop Century on 12/29 and leaving on 1/1, and has noted that ME is needed that day. The problem is we are arriving at WL on 1/1 and leaving on 1/7 which is the day we are supposed to use ME to go back to MCO. I told my TA about this and she said, "oh you can just change that at the hotel, it's no big deal". Is this true? OR can I call Disney and make my own arrangements?

Are you first staying at POP on 12/29? If you have a "split-stay" just change your return when you get to WDW.

If you're just staying at WL on 1/1 (TA has the resort and date wrong) I'd correct it ASAP.
