Problem with Shuttle service

Hi,
We just returned from our first trip to WDW.....My only complaint really is that we pay extra in our package to have a shuttle from the airport to our disney hotel....I think the company was called Mears, horrible service.....When we arrived to catch one of these shuttles we waited over an hour to get a shuttle....Then on the way back again they gave us a time and still we waited over an hour again....Traveling with small children and waiting they become impatient....I just would never use this service again....Has anyone else had this problem....

Mears is generally considered to be an inexpensive shuttle service that may cause you to have long waits at the exact times you don't want to be waiting. Next time don't get your transportation as part of your Disney package and try a towncar service. For more than 3 people, it's about the same price and no waiting!

Or just take a plain old regular taxicab. For a small party, it's a very good option! They cost about $40-50, and are there waiting for the flts. to arrive.

i'm sorry that you didn't have a good experience with them. i have used them a few times and have always had good service. it could just be an off day and maybe you should try them again. if you were hoping though not to have a wait, that won't happen. mears has to service so many hotels that there will always be a wait. as the other posters said though, if it bothered you so much that you don't want to try them again, towncars are a good way to go. though there have been some complaints about those lately.

Hi Again,
I don't mind waiting but when it took them over an hour just to get a shuttle that was a little much especially for my five year old son.....We have a family of four and we paid forty dollars a person just to get the shuttle bus in our package so it ends up to be 160.00 so i don't think that is so cheap....Next time i think that we will try a towncar, thanks for all your info....
