Problem with Park Vue Inn

I actually work at a Bank in the Credit Card division. I would agree that you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Your account number and CVV will remain the same. The only thing that will change on your plastic is the expiration date. Most CC companies mail your plastic 30-45 days before the month your plastic expires.

Whew. Thank you so much. :lovestrucI'll probably call the hotel directly once I get the new exp date and give it to them anyway so if they do run it a couple days before, it goes through for sure. Man I hate weird technicalities LOL.

Oh crap! We have reservations at PVI next week!

We just got back and had a lovely stay there.

I am sorry that the OP seems to be getting the run around.

They have a FB page...maybe try posting there...squeaky wheel and all that.

I don't think you have to worry too much about it (at least I hope not). Most people who stay at the PVI seem to have an enjoyable time and think it's a great place to stay. Most hotels aren't perfect, and you'll never find 100% of people satisfied with there stay.

Unfortunately, the problem that most people who aren't satisfied with this hotel are getting is that when there is a problem w/ their reservation (and they get charged), the management seems to be a bit apathetic to the problems. I can totally understand why this would make somebody nervous and it is completely reasonable to avoid booking a hotel for problems like this. However, I believe a majority of the people who stay here don't have this problem and if you have reservations to stay there next week, I'm sure you'll be able to go and enjoy your trip without too many issues. Just make sure you keep tabs on your CC account to make sure the billing is done correctly (and make sure that you keep all your paperwork in case of any problems).

I agree with cougarfan! We loved our stay at the Park Vue Inn when we were there in April:thumbsup2 and plan on staying there again!

Wow, it just shows how much it pays to treat your customers well! Desert Inn has 4 complaints as well, but each time they then made amends to the BBB and customer's satisfaction so they have an A rating. Whereas Park Vue had 4 complaints and 1 didn't even respond, 2x didn't make amends to the BBB or customer's satisfaction, and only once made amends to BBB/customer satifasfaction.

What horrible business practices! And how silly when all they have to do is work with the customer and all could be set right, and the customer remains a loyal patron and gives good reviews to others. In this day and age you can NOT get bad reviews. The information spreads too quickly and easily.

They are fooling themselves if they think new carpet is going to help when they have bad customer service.
