Problem with member services

Hi, while I was on the phone doing a few dining res. with MS I happened to ask about my waitlist for July at BVC. Well I was told I HAD BEEN CALLED AN A MESSEGE LEFT when I did not reply I was taken off the waitlist.I NEVER RECIEVED A MESSEGE!! I spoke with 2 people and then a supervisor all of them insisted it was noted and I was left a messege. I NeVER HAD A MESSEGE! They even said it was left on an answering machine.IT WAS NOT! I get more important messeges, business related and have never missed one! I just wondered if this has happened to anyone else?? Thanks for listening, Joan Also the supervisor offered to put me at the top of the waitlist. She was not really helpful so I question if she really did do this??Does anyone know if there is a way to check this?? Thanks

I can't offer any advice, but I can sure sympathize. That really stinks. It would have been different if they had sent you an email and were able to produce a copy of the sent email, but what happened to you just doesn't seem right. I would question also whether they put you at the top of the list or not as well...maybe you can call and get somebody from scratch and see if they can confirm your wait-list, and see if you are on the top of the list while they're at it.

Sorry to here that happened. I have only been waitlisted once for a GV and it come through in about 2 weeks.

Keep calling back, I was on the waitlist once so I thought. I was trying to get a ressie for last march in a studio at the BCV. They didn't have any avail. during the time. Was told I would go on the waitlist. Made a ressie for the VWL. I called a couple of days later about something else and just mentioned to the CM I was trying to get a ressie at BCV and was on the waitlist. She checked and said "I don't see you on the waitlist, but we have an available studio at the BCV during your time you want." So I wuld keep calling back and ask.

Maybe they dialed the wrong number and left a message on someone elses phone. I have this happen on my home phone quite often. People leave messages for someone else on my answering machine. I would think that they would try again if you didn't respond right away.

las3888, Thanks for the kind words. I guess what really got me was that they kept on repeating that I had been left a messege. I finally had to raise my voice and tell them NO MESSEGE WAS LEFT. I also needed to tell the supervisor that I felt there was a problem at HER END and she should look into it! I am going to call back to see if they can determine where I am on the waitlist. iluvwdw18, Nice to meet you too!! I have also been waitlisted many times and always had it come thru. This was the only time I asked to be called because I was on day to day and I did not want just one day in the middle of my stay. But I know if you waitlist day by day it seems to always come thru.Other times I have just told them to book it and cancel my previous res.The supervisor told me to do this from now on! This also upset me because I feel I have the right to choose which way I would like the waitlist handled! Sorry to complain! I am still looking to see if this has happened to someone else?? luvdisney, Good suggestion I think I will call daily from now on!! Gail and Joe, I asked about that also and she said it is computer dailed (like no one EVER makes a mistake typing!!)And you only get 1 messege and 24 hours to call back and then you are deleted from the waitlist! No second chances!! Joan

It is possible that the message was left on the wrong machine--it happened to me! Two years ago I was waitlisted, and when I checked, I was no longer on the list because I had been called too! MS got a little testy with me too, until I mentioned that absolutely they did not leave me a message because--I don't HAVE an answering machine!! I did eventually get the room, and an answering machine, too, although DH says this is why no one should have one of those blasted things
