problem with MDE app

...so I have the MDE app loaded on my android phone (Samsung Galaxy Mega).every time I launch the app it tells me my version is no longer good and need to upgrade.I click on upgrade and the google play store tells me the app isn't compatible with my device.
the app I have does run and work just all the notifications when it launches.The version I have currently is 1.6.2.

any one else having issues?

Do you have Android version 4 or higher? MDE does need that.

yes I have android version 4.2.2

...surely I cant be the only one having an issue?
I called Disney tech support and the cm couldn't help,she had me uninstall mde and try to reinstall. Now I have nothing. she said she would forward the ticket up the chain but have not heard back.
