Problem with LCD Display

I noticed this evening that there seems to be a tiny pixel out in my LCD display on my Rebel XT. My camera is still under warranty. Is this something that would be covered?

dead pixel warranties are a huge problem now. from a digital camera up to the largest LCD TV's. most manufacturers are requiring a certain standard to be met to warranty the device.

IHO, it's not fair.
